I’m off work just now with a wonky foot, toes are ok. Given time I’ll always revert to text, quite literally. I thought I’d mention something in the daily postings about a world news event which has gripped me but I can’t stop thinking about how good that mackerel and black pudding was I had last night.

Then I thought, why share the day in history from the last live show on this day and lo and behold mackerel is mentioned there too.

I bang on about it/ that day being a special day, and now I know why.
