Tales from the Hip is available, here, now
Catch up on Jax and co capers in Mexico in this weekly serialised audio book
A part a week of murderous fun with a hint of the paranormal
That’s right, old school, a part a week – buy now while this price lasts
Tales from the Hip is the prequal sequel to Durban’s Bread, but nay fear, you needn’t had to have read that, to get this – savvy!
Written, recorded and aired weekly, each part is a mini series in itself.
But don’t panic, there is a solid story line in place. It is however, written, so to speak; from the hip, on the go, take a scotch egg with you.
Each part is also accompanied by a musical extravaganza suitable to that episode. The tuneage, frantically sourced from musicians across the globe, is slung together at the last minute, given the nature of that week’s content, so hats off to them for being so accommodating – and believe me, the tuneage is awesome.
The book combines the beauty of Puerto Vallarta, to where hell reigns in Angola, while pursuing Jax’ future in South Africa – confused? You should be. But nae fear, there’s a bit of death, lust and banter to keep us going.
The first 9 episodes are free and available (below). These episodes also contain content from a show the book was originally serialised in. However, from chapter 10 onwards the content is pure book with tune, and usually around 15minutes.
#Please note: there will be a hard copy or digital edition eventually, but for now, is audio only.
This price is also on limited offer. Once in, you’ll go on the mailing list.
There is also scope for a shout out or advertise on a weekly slot – PM for prices.
An alternative Substack subscription is $5.00 a month, but they take 10% – it’s up to you. This one off payment, for the whole audiobook, is pretty good huh!
£10.00 is bonkers – pay via PayPal to Prim
It’s supersonic easy – you don’t need Paypal, you don’t need to convert your currency, it’s a simple click away
Durban’s Bread also still available here
