Hugh D’Wannabe is agent to the stars, intrigued by a calling from the woods. He sets off in his state-of-the-art mobility scooter. Will he find his calling, and will he sign his new prospect?

This is a short story I wrote eons ago, loosely about the fun I had conker-knocking every autumn – and every conker-knocking season I aim to put it out there – well, suddenly one has come around again, so, without further achu (bless you) – here we go…
